Electronics, Instruments and Hard parts are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of the original retail purchase. At our discretion, defective products shall be repaired, replaced or credited to your account.
All defective products must be returned to Record Technologies along with a copy of the invoice. Please allow 30 days to process this claim
This warranty shall not apply to any product that upon inspection, shows evidence of improper storage or installation, unintended use, accident, abuse, or unauthorized repairs, modifications or alterations.
Record Technologies shall not be responsible for any direct or indirect costs associated with a defective product including, but not limited to, the cost of diagnosis, removal, installation of replacement, vehicle equipment downtime, inconvenience, or consequential damage whatsoever resulting from the use of and or failure of Record Technologies products.
If the need should arise to return any of our product, please be sure to first contact us via phone, fax, or email to request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
When calling to request this RMA #, please provide the part number, the quantity and the reason for the requested return. Be sure to mark both the outside of the package and any supporting documentation with the RMA#. All packages should be shipped freight prepaid.
Items returned must be items that were purchased throughout the previous year.
Cash refunds are not available.

Special order items or discontinued items are not accepted back into stock.
